This paper takes a hotel project in Yixing as an example to analyse the applicability and technical advantages of the temperature and humidity independent control adopted in the hotel air conditioning system. Using outdoor air to bear the indoor latent heat load and the indoor fan coil to bear the sensible heat load can effectively reduce the system energy consumption, solve the problem of indoor air pollution caused by the central air conditioning itself, and greatly improve the indoor air quality. Directly using the high-temperature chilled water generated by natural cold sources can significantly reduce the energy consumption of the cold source system. At the same time, an outdoor air unit with a two-stage surface air cooler for exhaust air heat recovery is set up to achieve two-stage heat recovery, pre-cool and re-heat the outdoor air, which reduces the energy consumption of outdoor air treatment. During the low-load period at night, only turning on the outdoor air system can meet the cooling demand of guest rooms, and the operating noise of the air conditioning system can also be controlled. Thus, while ensuring the indoor thermal comfort environment, the operating energy consumption of the hotel air conditioning system is further reduced.
